Melissa founded Honey Bee Music, LLC in May 2021.  She holds a degree in music from Elizabethtown College.  Melissa is a board certified music therapist who works with individuals with learning disabilities, developmental disabilites, and intellectual disabilities.  She has been teaching piano lessons since 2005 and later added guitar and voice students as well.  She has enjoyed working with individuals of all ages and abilities.  In 2013 she became a registered Music Together® teacher and taught the curriculum for the Maryland Conservatory of Music for several years prior to starting Honey Bee Music.  In addition to music, Melissa loves animals and spending time with her family.
